What’s Brewing With Jen Includes Flies And Fire Alarms
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes RedZone interrupted by fire alarm and a fly was found in man’s intestine… Here are her stories from today.
Fire Alarm Interrupts RedZone
RedZone is watched by millions of football fans every week, and while Scott Hanson was commenting on the Eagles game yesterday, the fire alarm started going off in the building. Now, that happens here every once in a while, mostly just as testing the equipment, but it is part of life. Even when on live TV or radio. Hanson did what he needed to do by leaving the studio and was back in a few minutes and worked his way through the rest of the highlights with sirens and alarms blaring in the background. He’s the ultimate professional.

Fly Found Alive In Man’s Intestine
A 63 year old man was going through a colonoscopy recently in Missouri. Nothing weird there, happens everyday. However, doctors were shocked when they found a fully intact fly buzzing around in this man’s intestines. How did that happen? Well, doctors can only deduct that the man ate contaminated lettuce… the lettuce must have had fly larvae on it and the bug survived the journey through the man’s stomach acid and fleshy obstacles in order to grow into a fly and buzz around the man’s intestines. This is your daily reminder to wash your lettuce – and wash everything – before eating it.

6 Numbers That Tell The Story Of The The Eagles Win Over the Bills
Well, they did it again. Was it pretty? No. Did the Eagles stress all of us out? Yes. For the second straight week, they went into halftime down 17-7. The offense was a mess in the first half. But they somehow found a way to win. Jalen Hurts and the offense turned it on in the second half, scoring 3 TDs, and a late 59-yard FG by Jake Elliott, to eventually force OT. Then after holding the Bills to an FG, Jalen Hurts walked it off with a rushing TD.
This team just finds ways to win. They have yet to play a single game you could say was pretty. But they keep winning anyway. There is something to be said for always stepping up at the end of the game to pull out the win. Would we all love it if they just made it easy on us for once? Sure. But it is hard to complain about 10-1, especially considering they have the toughest schedule of any team in the league to this point. You win ugly enough, and you just get called winners. And the Eagles are winners.
They improved to 10-1. It puts them at least 2 games ahead of every other team in the NFL and gives them a lot of cushion for the top seed in the NFC. They are 4-0 in the so-called gauntlet of their schedule, with wins over the Dolphins, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills. Up next for them are the Niners, Cowboys, and Seahawks, before they finally get some easier games on their schedule to close out the season.
So how did they do it? How do they keep doing it? What are they doing so well that they continue to win? Let’s take a deeper look.
Here are 6 numbers that tell the story of their win over the Bills:
