What’s Brewing With Jen Includes A New Dating App And NYC Subway Surfing
A selection of online dating apps
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes a guy that created a dating app that benefits him and only him and NYC subway surfers get a little inappropriate… Here are her stories from today.
Guy Creates Dating App That Benefits Him And Only Him
A gentleman named Los Mayers has created a dating app in which every match is…. Himself. Pretty brilliant if you ask me. Also kinda creepy. It’s called “Flirt With Los” and is available now for free. He claims the app is more personal because he’s the star of the show. Users on the app can either “pass” or “flirt” when they see a picture of Mayers. If you pass, you get a picture of Mayers crying, asking you if you would like to try again. If you decide to flirt, then you get some stocked conversation starters. Back in 2023, Mayers challenged himself to create a new app every month to help him practice his coding skills.

Subway Surfers In NYC Get Inappropriate
Subway surfing in New York City isn’t that unusual I guess, but getting frisky while subway surfing is a top talent in itself. One couple was caught on camera doing the deed while on top of a moving New York City subway train. Jonathon Eli posted the pictures he snapped on Twitter and it really does appear that two people are getting busy. The photos are not suitable for work… you can clearly see a bare bum, nothing more, but still risky for a work computer. NYC transit authorities have slammed the stunt as “obscene and dangerous.” Six people died last year by subway surfing in New York City, so be careful surfers.

Handing Out Grades For Every Sixers Player At The All-Star Break
The NBA All-Star break is upon us. Meaning the Sixers get some much-needed rest. The season kind of imploded after such a promising start. Joel Embiid is out for several weeks with a meniscus injury. Tobias Harris, Nico Batum, Robert Covington, and DeAnthony Melton have all missed time. And they are still waiting for Kyle Lowry to be able to officially join the team. The All-Star Break couldn’t come at a better time for them.
Before the Embiid injury, this season looked like it might be their best chance yet. Joel Embiid was playing the best basketball of his career. Tyrese Maxey blossomed into a Star. Nick Nurse had the team functioning like a well-oiled machine, with elite production on both ends of the floor.
But the Embiid injury, along with all the other issues, derailed it completely. They fell from the 3 seed to the 5 seed. They are now 3-9 in their last 12 games. But getting reinforcements at the trade deadline did help. Since Buddy Hield and Cam Payne joined the team, they are 2-2. That is despite them dealing with several other injuries and Nick Nurse having to play with a patchwork lineup.
The All-Star break is also a good time for us to review what we know about this team. Who has stepped up this season? Which players need to do better in the 2nd half? Are we under or overrating anyone on the roster? Can the guys currently on it keep them afloat until Embiid returns? So while the Sixers get their much-needed rest, apart from Tyrese Maxey who is in the All-Star Game, let’s hand out some grades to the Sixers players. From Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, down to the guys at the end of the Sixers bench.
Here is the grade for every Sixers player heading into the All-Star Break:
