What’s Brewing With Jen Includes Solar Power For The Super Bowl And An Update
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes solar power at the Super Bowl and an update from a story last week… Here are her stories from today.
The Super Bowl Will Be Powered By Solar Farm
Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas this weekend will be powered entirely by renewable energy from a solar farm in Nevada. A first in the history of the event. The solar farm is located in rural Nevada, named NV Energy and houses 621,000 solar panels. Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders has entered into a 25 year deal with NV Energy to buy power from the solar farm. The farms 600,000 plus solar panels can power 60,000 residential customers. Evidently sustainability was in front of mind when the stadium was constructed. The roof is made of sustainable plastic that allows in daylight but blocks solar heat, taking less energy to cool the building. The field is moved in and outdoors on a rail system to get natural light instead of artificial light. And all clippings and food scraps are composted and converted into other forms of energy. Pretty darn cool.

UPDATE: Kids Expelled Over Mom’s OnlyFan Decal
Last week, I told you about Michelle Cline, or Piper Fawn… she’s the mom of children at Liberty Christian Preparatory School in Florida… the same mom who was booted from the school pickup line because of her sticker on her car that promoted her OnlyFans account. Well, now her kids are paying the price… they have been expelled from the school. The school says that Cline, “violated policies in their handbook by using the decals at the school.” Those poor kids. They are not responsible for what their mother does… The school did say that the kids could come back to school if Cline removed the decals from her car. Stay tuned for yet another update…
