See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes today’s Tom Brady is better than a young Tom Brady and a crazy mother of the groom… Here are her stories from today.
Present Tom Brady Is Better Than Young Tom Brady
Tom Brady is a better version of himself today than he was twenty-four years ago. It’s just not fair. Back in year 2000, a young Tom Brady was at the NFL combine trying desperately to get noticed by pro football teams. He was clocked running the 40-yard dash back then at 5.28 seconds. Recently on a video shoot, Brady decided to run the 40-yard dash again. And you can guess what happened… he beat his time. Twice. Twenty-four years later he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.18 seconds and then 5.12 seconds. Of course, you can see the video by clicking the link below.
It’s just not fair.

Crazy Mother Of The Groom
Yesterday, I had a story of a multi-million-dollar wedding in India. Today, I have a story about a mother of the groom trying to sabotage her son’s wedding. In Sonora, Mexico and man decided to marry a woman that he loves, however she did not come from the elite background that he did. And his family, particularly his mother, decided to sabotage the wedding. She first tried to throw red paint on the bride’s white dress just before she walked down the aisle. Covered in red paint, the bride went home and changed into a full-length gold sequined gown. They went through the ceremony, but the sabotage wasn’t over. An anonymous tipster called the police to tell them that drugs could be found on people at the wedding. So, the cops show up and search everyone to only find nothing. In a last-ditch effort, the groom’s family reportedly tried to bribe the travel agent that set the couple up on their honeymoon to ruin said vacation. The family has been questioned by friends but deny any wrongdoing.

Redrafting Every Eagles 1st Round Pick In The Howie Roseman Era
Howie Roseman has been the Eagles GM for 13 seasons. His time here has been a bit volatile. On one hand, he put together the only roster to ever win the Super Bowl. On top of that, he has overseen one of the best periods in franchise history overall. But it has not always been pretty. At times fans have hated his guts.
Near the end of the Doug Pederson era, fans wanted him fired too. He stuck around and built another great roster that came up just short in the Super Bowl. But last year it fell apart again. And his fingerprints were all over the crime scene. He did a terrible job reshaping the roster on defense.
One of the most volatile parts of his time here has been the draft. He has nailed some picks. But he has also been behind some of the worst draft picks in franchise history. It does seem his approach has changed of late. At least in the early rounds. We have seen him target more big names from big schools. Whereas in the past he often tried to be the smartest guy in the room and make some diamond in the rough pick. It has led to better results.
But could he have done better over the years? Howie Roseman has been the Eagles GM since 2010. His title has changed a bit over the years. There was the one year Chip Kelly sent him to the closet. But for the most part, he has been the major decision-maker for the past 13 seasons. In that time, the Eagles have made 12 1st round picks. So let’s go through them and see if they could have made a better pick.
