Green came over to the Sixers in the Al Horford trade with Oklahoma City last offseason. A veteran leader who knows something about winning (3 NBA Championships) his impact was truly felt when he left the Hawks series with an injury. Initially reports were that the Sixers and Green’s camp were in talks, but far apart. So this news was a bit of a welcomed surprise.
Green started 69 games last season for the Sixers, averaging 9.5 PPG while shooting .405% from 3. A streaky shooter at times, but a vocal presence in the room.
