In the NBA, the Jazz’s Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell and the Pistons’ Christian Wood have also tested positive.
Last Thursday, a Sixers team official told NBC Sports Philadelphia that players, coaches and select support staff had been asked to start a temporary self-quarantine, and that coronavirus testing was being arranged for players and staff who came in close contact or exhibit symptoms.
The NBA season was suspended minutes after the Sixers’ win last Wednesday night at Wells Fargo Center over the Pistons.
