HE'SSSSS BACKKKKK

According to The Athletic's Sham Charania, league MVP Joel Embiid is on track to play in game 2 Wednesday night in Boston.

Joel Embiid won MVP last night, finally, after back to back years of being the runner-up. According to Shams Charania, after he won he turned to his teammates and said "I'm back"

Sixers were able to steal game 1 in Boston WITHOUT Embiid, who has been sidelined with an LCL injury since game 3 against the Brooklyn Nets. He now returns from, what is normally, a 2-4 week injury after being out for the past 13 days. Embiid will add a rim protection element that was missing in game 1.

As for the Celtics, they are dealing with an injury of their own as Marcus Smart as listed as questionable for the game. The game is at 8pm and all the action can be heard on the Fanatic.
