The Philadelphia 76ers will not be taking a player in the 2022 draft, instead electing to trade the 23rd pick and Danny Green to the Memphis Grizzlies for guard DeAnthony Melton. This according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski

Melton, a former 2nd round pick, is still just 24 years old. Last season with Memphis Melton averaged 10.8 PPG, 2.7 APG, and 4.5 RPG. Melton came off the bench primarily for the Grizzlies, but he did start 15 games last season.

He has improved every single season in the NBA, and he will enter his 5th with the Sixers
