Adam Schefter Discusses What The Eagles Could Do In The Draft
The NFL draft is one of the most exciting times of the year for sports fans. The 3 day event sees teams pick their future while also wheeling and dealing in an attempt to add talent. Its something that the Eagles, and GM Howie Roseman has been very good at. Last season Howie Roseman nabbed Jordan Davis AND AJ Brown in about a 30 minute stretch. Could Eagles fans see a similar fleece job this year? It is possible since the Eagles have the #10 and the #30 picks in the draft. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade Show for his weekly hit (Wednesdays at 8:20) to discuss what the Eagles COULD do on Thursday night.
“I think the Eagles are always open to trading back, no matter what the scenario is. If there’s a guy there that they love, that they’re hoping is there at 10, then of course they won’t [trade back], but do I think, in this draft, the Eagles would be open and would like to trade back? I do.”
But the draft is always full of questions. The Panthers traded up for the #1 pick and we still dont know who the Panthers are taking. But whats the BIG question in Schefty’s eyes? Well its not at the #1 overall pick…
“I think the number one question right now is what is Houston doing at 2. That seems to be the source of some mystery. They could go QB, but there has been an awful lot of conversation in the building about going defense and taking Tyree Wilson or Will Anderson”
