Adam Schefter Breaks News About NFC East Rival on “The John Kincade Show”
Adam Schefter joined The John Kincade Show to talk about the start of NFL training camps, the sale of the Washington Commanders, and some breaking news about Andrew Thomas of the New York Giants.
Andrew Thomas Signs Extension
The premiere NFL insider broke news live on the airwaves of 97.5 The Fanatic. Andrew Thomas has signed a five-year, $117.5 million extension to stay with the NFC East rival through 2029.

The Philadelphia Eagles have owned the Giants in recent history with 15 wins in 18 regular-season games. They also took care of business with a 38-7 slaughter in the NFC Divisional Round in January 2023.
However, Thomas has been a key part of New York’s improvement under head coach Brian Daboll. The Giants selected him with the fourth-overall pick in 2020. The former Georgia Bulldog led all NFL offensive tackles in WAR in 2022, according to Pro Football Focus.
The success of the long-term investment will sway significantly based on his performance against a notoriously ferocious Philadelphia pass rush in upcoming seasons.
Josh Harris Buys Washington Commanders
Schefter also talked about “extensive” changes looming after the ownership change in the nation’s capital.
The Eagles enjoyed the ineptitude of Daniel Snyder sinking a division rival for 24 seasons dating back to 1999.
Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment will now take over the Washington Commanders. According to Schefter, the new ownership group has no intention of keeping key parts of Snyder’s practices intact.
“Make no mistake about it. I think there’s going to be some massive, massive changes coming.” -Adam Schefter
Josh Harris will consider changing the Commanders name and building a new stadium.
The franchise has played at FedEx Field in Maryland since 1997. The controversy surrounding their name change also dramatically damaged the public perception of the team.
The managing partner of the Philadelphia 76ers hasn’t exactly put the local basketball team in a great position. However, the promise of a new beginning in Washington D.C. erases the comfort level that fans of the Philadelphia Eagles previously felt about an NFC East team’s repetitive insistence on bad organizational practice.
