The Audio Vault- Another Big Night By Embiid
See what Andrew Salciunas found in the Audio Vault today. He pulled a Joel Embiid highlight package, a historic comeback, and some notable Birthdays from Philly Sports legends. Here is what Andrew played in The Audio Vault today.
Joel Embiid Goes Off For 42 Points
Joel Embiid has been on a tear. And while you may have missed it last night while we all watched the Damar Hamlin situation unfold, Joel Embiid had another ridiculous performance last night in a win over the Pelicans. He put up 42 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. And for the people who did miss it, Andrew put together a highlight package of Embiids big night as called by Tom McGinnis.
Frank Reich leads a Historic Comeback
On this day in 1993, Frank Reich led what was at the time a record comeback with the Bills. They were down by as much as 35-3 in the third quarter. But then future Eagles Coordinator Frank Reich led a comeback. His Bills game all the way back to tie it in regulation, before winning in OT. That record was only recently broken by the Vikings when they came back vs the Colts a few weeks ago. And Andrew got the audio from the comeback to play for us in The Vault today.
Happy Birthday Rick MacLeish
Today would have been the Birthday of Rick MacLeish. Sadly he is no longer with us, but MacLeish was a part of the Broad Street Bullies teams that brought two Stanley Cups to Philly. And he had a big part in one of those Cups when his goal iced the win for the Flyers in 1977. So Andrew pulled the audio of that goal for The Vault today.
Happy Birthday Darren Daulton
Speaking of Philly legends, today also would have been Darren Daulton’s birthday. Dutch was the longtime catcher for the Phillies. And while he did not win a World Series for the Phillies, he did help them get to one in 1993. And Andrew pulled one of his best moments from the 93 NLCS to honor his Birthday today.
