Sixers Own Matt Cord To Appear In NBA2K

When he’s not holding down the midday shift at our sister station 102.9 WMGK102.9 WMGK, you can find Matt Cord at his “other job.” Being the in-arena announcer for the Philadelphia 76ers. But if you can’t make it to a Sixers game this season then not to worry, you’ll still be able to hear Matt! All you will have to do is turn on your Xbox One or PS4/5. Because Matt Cord will be featured in the latest edition of the hit game NBA 2K!

This is so cool on many levels, but 2K putting Matt literally in the game will now broadcast to the WORLD the best in-arena man in sports. He’s not quite a “SIX FOOT GUARD FROM GEORGETOWN” but Cord, like Iverson, can now add “video game character” to his resume.

NBA2K comes out September 10th
