What’s Brewing With Jen Includes Donations And Huge Sandwiches
Tyler Bass #2 of the Buffalo Bills
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes a huge sandwich at the Lions game and donations pour in to animal charity in support of Tyler Bass… Here are her stories from today.
Huge Sandwich Goes Viral At Lions Game
The Lions beat the Bucs last weekend (the Eagles obviously were not involved) but the big story is a man’s sandwich… The massive sandwich was huge! It’s called the ’50-Yard Line Sun Sandwich Bar’ and it’s a specialty at Ford Field. The sandwich costs $250 and it’s meant to feed ten to twelve people. However, this particular fan – reportedly – orders one all for himself at every home game. That’s a lot of dough to shell out at every single home game, but good on ya buddy. And he’s a season ticket holder. The sandwich is only served at halftime because it takes that long to put together. It has four different meats, one cheese, three vegetables and a choice of nine toppings.

Bills Fans Flood Local Animal Charity In Support Of Tyler Bass
Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass missed a field goal in the loss to the Chiefs this past weekend. And some fans are putting the blame solely on his shoulders. He even deactivated all his social media. Leave the poor guy alone, nobody feels worse than he does. Nobody. So stop.
Anyway, the fans that are supporting Tyler Bass are doing so in a pretty cool way. Bass supports a local animal charity called Ten Lives Club, a local cat rescue. Donations have totaled over $7,000 from fans donating $22, in reference to Bass’s number. Those are good people.

6 Free Agents Who Could Help Fix The Eagles Secondary
The Eagles had a lot of issues this past season. But one of the biggest reasons they fell so short is their secondary. The most consistent part of the Eagles season was seeing the other teams’ receivers run wide-open. The Eagle finished the season 31st in passing yards allowed. If things are going to get fixed there, they are going to have to land some big-name free agents.
Last off-season, the Eagles brought both Darius Slay and James Bradberry back. Slay still played at a fairly high level when healthy. But Bradberry was a bit of a disaster. And the Eagles learned the drawbacks of relying on two corners over 30 years old. Outside those two, Avonte Maddox spent most of the season on the IR, and the young guys like Eli Ricks and Josh Jobe left a lot to be desired. Rookie Kelee Ringo flashed some ability but was from from good enough to trust going into next season.
Safety was an even bigger disaster. Reed Blankenship got worse as the season went along. Kevin Byard failed to impress after being traded to the team before the deadline and has now been cut. Sydney Brown could still have some promise, but he is unproven, and will likely miss the start of the season as he recovers from a torn ACL.
The entire secondary needs an infusion of talent. They also need to get both younger and faster. Thankfully, it is a pretty good offseason to be in need of secondary help. Especially if you are looking for a good young Safety. The Eagles have some cap space to work with to be able to sign one.
Here are 6 free agents who could help fix the Eagles secondary:
