The Eagles Draft Position Improves In Week 14
The Eagles are firmly in a playoff hunt at just 6-7. Which tells you just how bad the NFC is. But the expanded playoffs makes it possible for the Birds to slide in. But the Eagles are also a mediocre football team who needs to look at the draft in April. The team holds two first round picks (their own, and the Dolphins) with a chance at a 3rd if Carson Wentz plays enough snaps (check the Wentz snap tracker to see how close they are.)
Last week the Eagles picks slipped thanks to an Eagles win, as well as the Dolphins 5th straight victory. But this week the Eagles picks improved slightly.
As it currently stands the Eagles hold:
10th overall pick
11th overall pick
21st overall pick*
* Colts pick has yet to vest
This is up from picks 12, and 13. The Colts pick did slip from 17 as they currently hold a playoff spot.
The Eagles arent the only NFC East team with multiple picks as the Giants currently hold picks 5 and 6. To some, this upcoming game against Washington is a must win. But to the “tank for the draft pick” community this game is a must lose.
