It’s official. John Kincade has defeated cancer for the third time. He released the news on social media shortly after his Tuesday morning show.
Leave it to someone like Kincade to turn such an incredibly unfortunate situation into something that everyone at Beasley Media and each of our listeners can turn into inspiration in their lives.
We have a final score from Philadelphia!

John Kincade
You’ve heard him on the 97.5 The Fanatic morning show since 2021. He spent some of his days in Delco through his time at Cardinal O’Hara and college years at Temple University. His years in the Atlanta market only led to a journey back to Philadelphia. John has provided his listeners with the best sports radio day after day throughout his career.
You’ve heard him battle the chemo fog through recent months since his diagnosis. You’ve donated hats in a compassionate initiative. It’s taken positivity, encouragement from family members and friends, and the collective support of everyone around him. He never stopped fighting though.
The John Kincade Show holds their First Friday broadcasts at our Bala Cynwyd studios each month. Since the diagnosis, the monthly celebrations have included two incredible instances of support for the morning show host.
Pat Egan, Connor Thomas, and other members of Beasley’s staff shaved their heads in solidarity with John in August. Countless friends contributed to a heartfelt video with encouragement for the rest of his journey at the “seventh-inning stretch” in October.
From everyone at Beasley Media, 97.5 The Fanatic, and the entire community, congratulations to John Kincade for defeating an incredible obstacle that transcends any opponent the teams he covers will face on the field, the court, or the ice.
