More Red October:
Which Dad Of A Phillies Player Was Buying Beer For Fans?
The Phillies are headed to the National League Championship Series, they only did so by getting past the Atlanta Braves. Well during one of those games, the dad of a Phillies player was blessing people with some beer during the games.
This reminds us a lot of Rhys Hoskins’ wife, Jayme, last postseason who was buying entire sections of beer during the incredible run they had last year. If you haven’t heard about it, you can read about it here!
The Dad of a Phillies Player Buying Beer
This is perhaps the most wholesome thing you will see because once you find out what player it was, you are totally going to say “Oh yeah, that makes sense for sure.” This player is a favorite in the clubhouse amongst the players. He embodies the spirit of Red October and was on the team last year.
A Clue As To Who It Is
A member of XTU Nation, Holly Pachella, was at the National League Division Series game three against the Atlanta Braves. The Phillies beat them 10-2 and the crowd was INSANE the entire time. She posted a photo on her Twitter account with her, a friend, and the father of a Phillies player. Here’s the photo.
Why Did He Do It?
He actually saw Holly wearing the jersey of his son and, according to her post, he asked her “What are you guys drinking tonight, I saw your jersey… I’m XXXXX’s father I want to buy you a drink.” It is so stinkin’ cool that he would take the time to buy a round for a couple of Philadelphia Phillies fans enjoying the greatest playoff atmosphere that baseball has to offer, that at Citizens Bank Park.
We are going through a list of some of the ten players that it COULD be, and then at the bottom, you will find out who it is!
