The Philadelphia Flyers add Stanley Cup champ to their front office.
In the off-season of restructuring and making moves, the orange and black are bringing in another familiar face to the organization.
One fans and players with the organization have had to face, and many times would dread facing.
On Tuesday, June 12, 2023, the Philadelphia Flyers organization announced they would be adding Patrick Sharp as a special advisor to hockey operations.

“In adding Patrick Sharp to our group, we are gaining an individual who has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to building an environment of winning at all levels,” said President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones in a press release. Sharp will report to the new General Manager, Danny Briere.
Sharp was drafted in the third round by the Flyers in 2001 and traded to Chicago in 2005. Five years later during the 2010 Stanley Cup Final, Briere was on the Flyers team that lost to Sharp’s Blackhawks in six games. Sharp would go on to win three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks.
