Adam Schefter Discusses Miles Sanders Workload As He Comes Back
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade Show for his weekly hit (8:10am EVERY Wednesday.) The hot topic of conversation regarding the Eagles is what should the Eagles do with running back Miles Sanders? Ever since Miles Sanders was injured the Eagles running game has flourished. And theyve done so with the likes of Boston Scott and Jordan Howard. Its got some fans wondering weather or not the Eagles sit Sanders, going with a “if it isnt broke, dont fix it” mentality.
Adam Schefter started off by giving his thoughts on Sanders. Just as a running back, not at the current situation.
“He still needs to establish himself, but I think people look at him as a very good (running) back. I still think Miles Sanders is still one of the more talented running backs in the league. And we didnt get to see all of that early one.”
Schefter was then asked how the Eagles should use Sanders moving forward.
“He’ll work his way back in, theyll build him back up, and I would think that if he plays like Miles Sanders….the Miles sanders thats talked about around the league as one of the better backs. Then he’ll get more and more work each week until hes back to his normal workload.”
