Phillies lineup: Jean Segura returns after missing 2 games with hamstring issue
Jean Segura is back in the Phillies’ lineup for Game 1 of their doubleheader Thursday in Buffalo against the Blue Jays.
Segura missed both games in Boston after suffering a hamstring injury midway through Sunday’s win over the Mets. Phil Gosselin started at second base in the first game Segura missed, while Scott Kingery got the start there yesterday.
Segura had started to heat up before the injury. He’s 7 for 25 over his last seven games with three solo homers, a triple and five walks. Segura has hit in 12 of the 16 games he’s played this season but hasn’t yet had a multi-hit game. He is walking more than usual with 10 in 64 plate appearances. He’s hit .222/.344/.426 so far in 2020.
Here is the lineup for Game 1 at 1:05 p.m. on NBC Sports Philadelphia:
1. Andrew McCutchen, DH
2. Rhys Hoskins, 1B
3. Bryce Harper, RF
4. J.T. Realmuto

The Phillies face veteran right-hander Chase Anderson in Game 1.
The Phillies made several roster moves prior to Thursday’s doubleheader. They reinstated right-handed reliever Reggie McClain from the injured list, recalled lefty Cole Irvin and optioned outfielder Kyle Garlick and righty Ramon Rosso to Lehigh Valley. The 29th man for Thursday’s doubleheader is left-hander JoJo Romero.
