Watch a 14-year-old Bryce Harper almost take a kid’s head off with line drive
“Look out!”
“I don’t think Bryce has changed very much from last year. This guy’s just a baseball player.”
Those were the words spoken about a 14-year-old, bloody-nosed Bryce Harper in this clip, which the Triple Crown World Series account sent out earlier in the week.
The World Series has had some amazing future MLB talent play but no better than @bryceharper3.

While Harper’s setup at the plate looks much different, more like Craig Counsell, the swing and follow-through look so similar to what it’s been in the majors.
And yeah, this looked like a bit of a mismatch at the plate in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Remember the days when exit velocity data didn’t immediately follow a sharp line drive? This was back in 2007, when the Phillies were busy catching the Mets.
