AJ Brown Keeps Promise To Young Hero Injured In NE Plane Crash
AJ Brown accomplished what every NFL player dreams of on Sunday, winning a Super Bowl. Scoring a TD in the game likely made it even sweeter. But his biggest win of the week may have come later. One of the 1st things he did when coming back to Philly, was keeping his promise to a young boy who was injured by falling debris in the NE plane crash.
You might have already heard the story of Andre Howard, the 10-year-old who was injured protecting his sister. He was struck by a piece of metal and had to undergo emergency brain surgery. When Andre woke up from brain surgery his first two questions were if his sister was okay, and then if he missed the Eagles winning the Super Bowl.

AJ Brown was already in New Orleans when he learned of Andre’s story. But moved by the young boy’s heroism, and by his love for the Eagles, Brown made Andre a promise.
AJ kept the first part of his promise on Sunday when he won the Super Bowl and earned the hardware he was referring to, i.e. the Lombardi Trophy. When the Eagles finally got back to Philly, Brown kept his other promise.
Andre’s mom posted on her Facebook, letting the world know that AJ visited Andrew in the hospital, and brought that hardware with him just like he promised…
