6 Eagles Players Named To The Pro Bowl
It has not been the ideal season for the Eagles. After starting out 10-1, they are not 11-5 heading into the final week. But if you needed a reminder that they still do have a ton of talent, we got it tonight. 6 Eagles players have been named to the Pro Bowl, including Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, AJ Brown, Landon Dickerson, D’Andre Swift, and Haason Reddick.
It is Swift’s first time being named to the Pro Bowl, Dickerson and Reddick’s 2nd time, Brown’s 3rd time, Johnson’s 5th time, and Kelce’s 7th time. All of them except Swift were named to it last year, but obviously couldn’t play in the actual game since they were in the Super Bowl. Kelce, Brown, and Johnson will all be “starters”, while the other teams made the team as reserves.
Additionally, several other Eagles, including Jalen Hurts, Darius Slay, Jordan Mailata, Cam Jurgens, Jalen Carter, Josh Sweat, Dallas Goedert, Britain Covey, and Jake Elliott were named alternates and will fill in on the Pro Bowl team for any guys who can’t compete due to either injuries or playing in the Super Bowl.

The Pro Bowl festivities take place between Feb. 1st and Feb. 4th in Orlando. They now include loads of skills competitions ranging from tug of war, dodgeball, Kick-Tac-Toe, Madden, and more. The game itself is no longer a full 11 on 11 game, but 3 separate 7 on 7 Flag Football games. Which makes sense since in the normal games no one really had any interest in tackling anyway. Instead, it focuses less on the game, and more on just showcasing the players’ abilities and personalities. Fans seemed to approve of the format change last season.
Hopefully, for the Eagles, they won’t actually have to participate, because they will be preparing for a game that matters.
