Philadelphia Eagles Projected 2023 Week 12 Starters
The Philadelphia Eagles enter Week 12 of the 2023 NFL season with the best record in the NFL at 9-1, and they will likely use the same starters in their upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills. They are currently in the driver’s seat to earn the top seed in the NFC and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Eagles Sneak Past Chiefs
The Super Bowl LVII rematch on Monday Night Football certainly wasn’t the cleanest game. The Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 21-17 in downright bizarre fashion.
Jalen Hurts faced pressure from Chris Jones and the Kansas City defense consistently throughout the game. He found a way to lead the Eagles down the field for two touchdown drives in the second half. The Philadelphia defense held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs scoreless on six second half possessions.
Nick Sirianni has improved to 32-12 as a head coach in NFL regular-season games. The Eagles are 23-2 in games started by Jalen Hurts since the beginning of the 2022 season.
They can escape potential clunkers in an NFL era that all of a sudden seems defined by trap games.
Projected Philadelphia Eagles Week 12 Starters
The Eagles will return to Lincoln Financial Field in Week 12 to face Josh Allen and the 6-5 Bills. The matchup continues a stretch of legitimate opponents the Eagles will face over the next month.
Their lineup in Week 12 should look similar to the one they used in Kansas City. Dallas Goedert and Nakobe Dean will remain out with injuries. Jack Stoll started at tight end in Week 11. He played 55% of the snaps while Grant Calcaterra and Albert Okwuegbunam both rotated in backup roles.
Nicholas Morrow played an elevated role next to Zach Cunningham with Dean out of the lineup.
Julio Jones and Olamide Zaccheaus both saw some significant playing time at Arrowhead Stadium. While DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown will be the obvious focus of the wide receiver room, the coaching staff has trust in their top four wide receivers while Quez Watkins remains on the sidelines.
Andrew Salciunas, “The Choonis,” has done it all at the station - screening calls, working events as a member of the street team, producing 7 days a week, doing updates, and now hosting his own show. Now with a wife and kid, his life experiences are far different than when he first started, but this “regular guy” knows how to relate to anyone. He writes about the Flyers, Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles.
