Gritty NSFW During Guest Appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic [VIDEO]
The Philadelphia Flyers sent Gritty to give The John Kincade Show a show of his own after the release of his risque calendar.
Everyone’s favorite orange muppet stopped by the Bala Cynwyd studio to promote his new calendar, benefitting Flyers Charities, before the beginning of the 2023-24 season.
Gritty Calendar
Flyers Charities focuses on supporting local families impacted by cancer, growing the game of hockey, and supporting sustainability and environmental responsibility as its main pillars.
The Gritty Calendar features specially-themed outfits and settings and personally handwritten notes from the Flyers mascot.
The monthly pictures for the year 2024 include shots in front of City Hall, on the beach in Ocean City, and in the costume of local hero Betsy Ross. The February page even includes a provocative picture, and Gritty gave a sneak preview to John Kincade and Bob Cooney.

Flyers Open 2023-24 Season
Nicolas Deslauriers led the NHL in fighting majors with 14 in 2022-23. However, even the toughest player in the league knows to stay in his lane. He spoke as a guest on The John Kincade Show about his dynamic with Gritty.
“I usually stay away from Gritty. I think he’s more of the scary one when he’s around you. He’s great with kids, so that’s a good thing. But no, I stay away from his tracks. That’s for sure.” -Nicolas Deslauriers
97.5 The Fanatic can also dispel the belief that Gritty is actually former Flyers great Scott Hartnell in disguise. The two appeared in the same place at the same time on stage at Xfinity Live for Fan Fest 2023.
The Flyers drop the puck on the New Era of Orange on Thursday, Oct. 12 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. They’ll return to Philadelphia for the home opener on Oct. 17. The John Kincade Show will broadcast from center ice at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday, Oct. 16.
Watch The John Kincade Show live on the 97.5 The Fanatic YouTube page on weekday mornings from 6am-10am.
