More Schools Are Adjusting Schedules for the Super Bowl

Millions of people will be watching the Super Bowl this weekend, but if one city is watching it more than others, that city is probably Philadelphia. Okay, and also Kansas City, but you get what I’m saying.

Now, some local students will get some time off to ensure they can watch the Big Game.

We reported on this last week, and now, according to CBS News, students at MaST Charter Schools are giving students the day off Monday, saying it’s a wellness day. At the Wissahickon School District, classes will start two hours later to help students and staff members recover after the Big Game. Other schools giving students some extra time after the game include the Upper Merion School District and Gloucester City schools.
