What’s Brewing With Jen- Can Pregnant Woman Use the Carpool Lane?
What was Brewing With Jen Scordo today? Every day Jen goes through three weird and interesting stories. Today she covered a woman who makes a living on Only Fans with hair videos, a pregnant mother claiming her unborn child makes her eligible for the carpool lane, and someone scamming a former Patriots player out of their Super Bowl ring. Here are her stories from today.
Former Patriot Scammed Out of Super Bowl Ring
A former Patriot player, who has not been named, was scammed when he tried to sell his Super Bowl Ring. The problem was, the man he thought he had sold it to, did not actually have the money he promised to this player. Scott Spina Jr. bought the ring, which was from the Patriots’ famous comeback vs the Falcons, off this player for $32k. But it was money he knew he didn’t have.
But he took it a step further, and stole the player’s identity too, to be able to pose as him and order more replica rings. He then sold those record players to make hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The good news was Scott was caught, charged with Fraud, and sentenced to 3 years in jail. And Scott will also have to pay this former Patriot $63 k in restitution. So he may have been scammed, but he should eventually end up with more money than he was supposed to get, and he will still have his Super Bowl Ring.
Making Thousands on Only Fans with Hair Videos
Rojeana Macapagal has made a killing on Only fans. But she hasn’t had to get nude to do so like most people on the platform. Instead, people pay her for videos of her hair. She has a head of hair that goes all the way down to her knees, 36 inches long. And that seems to be something a lot of people are into. Her subscribers ask her to do things like brushing her hair, wash it, style it, sometimes cut it, and do other typical hair-related things. She said it has brought in about $500 a month for her.
Using a Carpool Lane When Pregnant
One Texas woman has fought, and won, against multiple tickets for driving in the carpool lane without a passenger. How did she get the tickets dismissed? She is pregnant and claimed under the new abortion laws in Texas that her unborn child counts as a passenger. Brandy Bottone received one ticket for driving in the HOV Lane but had it dismissed. Since then she has received other tickets. She was ticketed in the same spot by the same cop. Leaving her to wonder what the point of winning her case was if they will still keep giving her tickets.
“Nobody is answering whether it’s right or wrong,” Bottone said. “They dismissed it. Why do I have to change my belief?… It doesn’t answer the question. Did I get it right or did I get it wrong?”
