Adam Schefter Breaks Down The Eagles Trading Back To 12

A lot has changed since the last time Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show for his weekly Wednesday hit at 8:10am. Mainly that the Eagles no longer hold the #6 pick in the NFL draft after trading back to 12. Adam gave us some insight into what he thought Howie and the Eagles were thinking by making this move down the draft board.

“They felt like by going back theyll get an excellent player at 12,” Schefter told Kincade and the gang. “There might be a minimum of 5 quarterbacks taken before the Eagles pick. Which leaves them with one of the 7 best non QBs int he draft, while having potentially 3 first round picks next year”

And as far as how this could shape their 2022 NFL draft? Well if Jalen Hurts doesnt succeed next year Adam thinks the Eagles are in a great spot.

“No team is better positioned in 2022 to go get a QB”
