Jalen Reagor leaves practice with apparent hand or arm injury
Jalen Reagor, the Eagles’ 1st-round wide receiver, left practice at the Linc Sunday afternoon with what appeared to be a left arm or hand injury.
Reagor, who has been having an impressive rookie training camp, was being covered by Avont Maddox on a pass by Jalen Hurts. Maddox picked the ball off and Reagor got hurt while attempting to tackle Parks.
He appeared to be in some pain while trainers checked him out on the sideline and then went down the tunnel with a trainer.
There was no immediate word from the Eagles on the injury.
The Eagles drafted Reagor out of TCU with the 21st pick overall in April, and he’s looked confident and been productive during the two weeks of training camp. Based on the reps he’s been getting with the 1st offense, it appears he’ll have a significant role on the offense once the season begins.
With Alshon Jeffery out indefinitely as he rehabs last year’s foot injury and Quez Watkins day-to-day, the Eagles have DeSean Jackson, Greg Ward, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Deontay Burnett and Marcus Green back from last year along with rookies John Hightower and Manasseh Bailey at receiver as well as recent pickup Travis Fulgham.
With Andre Dillard out for the year with a biceps injury, Derek Barnett out indefinitely with an ankle, Carson Wentz out Sunday with a soft tissue injury, Nelson Agholor in Las Vegas, Marcus Smith long gone and Lane Johnson out for over a week now with a lower-body injury, the Eagles practiced Sunday without their last seven 1st-round draft picks.
Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox, drafted in 2010 and 2012, were their only 1st-round picks on the field by the end of practice Sunday.
