Dak Prescott has been the Cowboys QB for a while now. He just had his 9th season with the franchise. For reference, Tony Romo was their starter for 10 seasons. In that time the Cowboys have made the playoffs 5 times and only won twice. They have never made it past the 2nd round. Some would think someone with that little real success would be a little humble, especially after watching his rival win it all for the 2nd time since he took over as the Cowboys starter. But that is not the case.

I thought Micah Parsons saying that a 41-7 loss was actually close would be the most delusional thing a Cowboys player would say this year. But Dak Prescott might have just topped him. Because when asked about the Eagles winning recently, he had this madness to say.

"I feel like we've competed with the Eagles and beat them for the most part when we've played them. I don't want to say 'check the record' when the other guy's holding the trophy. So credit to them. They've earned it, and they deserve it by all means, but yeah, very close. Especially even watching the NFC Championship and those teams [Eagles and Commanders], teams that we battle against each and every year a couple of times. As I said, feel confident that we've gotten the better part each and every time. But just seeing such a dominating fashion, credit to them. It's our turn, and it's on us."
