Olympic Tokyo Games Could See 1-2 Year Delay
A member of the Olympics executive board told Reuters that if the Tokyo Olympic Games can’t happen due to the Coronavirus a delay of one to two years may be “feasible.”
Organizers keep pushing the message that the Olympics won’t get cancelled or postponed, but advertisers who are pumping cash into the games are getting nervous about the Coronavirus outbreak.
If the games get cancelled or played without spectators, that’s a huge financial loss.
If they get postponed by a year or two the schedule would clash with other major sporting events.
