ESPN Wants Peyton Manning for Monday Night Football

Manning has hosted two different shows on ESPN's Plus streaming service but has turned down ESPN for a major broadcast position in the past.

Word is that CBS Sports wanted Manning, too.

As time went on without a commitment from Manning CBS Sports decided to extend former Cowboy Tony Romo's contract for more than $17 million.
