NCAA Football is coming back after a decade-long hiatus. And in honor of the iconic video game series returning, Andrew has been talking about some of his favorite things in sports video games all week. Here is what he has covered so far.

And now on the final Day of the week, he is talking about his favorite sports video games period. Here is what made the list.

ESPN NFL 2K5

The GOAT football game. I could make the case it is the GOAT sports game. This game had it all. Fantasy Draft, legit gameplay, first-person mode, THE CRIB!!! You even got halftime shows from Chris Berman. The gameplay itself ruled, but all the bells and whistles made it the best.

NBA 2K10

It was my favorite of the 2k franchises. It was so great that I kept my Xbox 360 for a LONG time just to keep playing it. The next 2k I bought was in the next decade.

Madden 12

No. It isn't my favorite because Peyton Hillis is on the cover. In my opinion, this was the last great Madden. The last Madden that you didn't hear complaints about 1 week into the game being released.

NHL Hitz 02

Not all of these games have to be the real deal. NHL Hitz was 3 on 3 arcade hockey where you could catch on fire and score from the logo. Want to kill a few hours with your buddies? This was always a safe choice

NFL/NBA Street

I could do a write-up for both, but I want these two games married together. They are both iconic for what they brought. 3 on 3 hoops, 7 on 7 football, the locations you played, and the ways you could build your rosters in some of the game modes. I have never heard a person complain about either of these games

MLB 2k11

Like NBA 2k10, this was my favorite of the franchise. It was also a game that kept me from buying another one for a long time. It also helps that Roy Halladay was on the cover and the Phillies were nasty to play with.

College Football is making its return to the video game industry. It took a hiatus for over a decade while the name image and likeness situation was sorted out. For too long the NCAA steadfastly refused to even let players profit off of their own image. But now that players finally can, the iconic video game series will make its return this Summer in the form of 'College Football 25.'

And unlike in past iterations of the game, you will actually be able to play as some of your favorite college players. In the past, they couldn't use the athlete's name or likeness. So you wound up with some dude who looks nothing like Robert Griffin being the QB for Baylor. Now with NIL being allowed, players can be paid for the rights to their name and image. So you will be able to pick Colorado and play as Sheduer Sanders for instance. Assuming Sanders is one of the players who opts into letting them use his image.

And in honor of the game returning, Andrew Salciunas has been writing all week about sports video games. Here is what he has put out so far.

And today he is continuing that series by talking about some players he used to dominate with in sports video games. but not star players. Anyone can boot up Madden and put up big numbers with Patrick Mahomes or another Super Star. Instead, he counted down the guys who weren't stars, and in some cases weren't even good players. But for whatever reason in video game form, they were unstoppable.

Here are 5 Non-Star players Andrew Salciunas couldn't be stopped with in sports video games:

    Eddie House

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - JANUARY 30: Guard Eddie House #55 of the Miami Heat celebrates after making a three-point shot during a 108-103 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Ford Center on January 30, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. (Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)

That's NBA Champion Eddie House to you! I think his overall rating in any NBA game never eclipsed 70. But the dude was a SNIPER from 3. I won a league MVP with House before and I'm pretty sure LeBron was on that team. Catch and shoot, step-backs, it didn't matter. Eddie House was a bucket.

    Tony Womack

There is a chance that if you didn't read this article, you would never have thought of the name Tony Womack ever again. Back when slapping singles and dropping bunts mattered. Tony Womack was that dude in old baseball games. Once he got on base, he was stealing second and third.

    Gavin Floyd

This former Phillies legend ended up getting traded to the Chicago White Sox. He had a few good years in real life, but he was headed to Cooperstown when I pitched with him. The 12-6 curve in some baseball games was basically a cheat code, and he had that. I would draft him low enough to be the 3rd or 4th guy in the rotation, but he would end up winning Cy Young each year.

    Birdman Chris Anderson

Nobody plays 2K to play with a big. But if you want to run a pick-and-roll with an athletic big man and get triple-doubles thanks to rebounds and blocks, Birdman was that guy. He could be your last draft pick and make the biggest impact on both ends on the floor

    Xavier Nady

FORT MYERS, FL - MARCH 13: Outfielder Xavier Nady #22 of the New York Yankees bats against the Boston Red Sox March 13, 2009 at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers, Florida. (Photo by Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images)

Talk about a bust out. Nady hit at least 20 home runs in just 2 years of his 12-year career. But we aren't talking real-life people. Nady for some reason had a power rating against left-handed pitchers in the 90s. Bring him in as a platoon player, and he is hitting 30+ bombs in 80 starts.

    Tarvaris Jackson

MINNEAPOLIS - SEPTEMBER 12: Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson #7 of the Minnesota Vikings looks to pass the ball during the game against the Indianapolis Colts at the Metrodome on September 14, 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.(Photo by: Jeff Gross/Getty Images)

RIP. Jackson was the quarterback of the Vikings when Adrian Peterson entered the league. I would play as Minnesota in Madden, but not for AP. I played for Jackson. Play action passes to tight ends or tucking and running, he was my MVP.

Andrew Salciunas, “The Choonis,” has done it all at the station - screening calls, working events as a member of the street team, producing 7 days a week, doing updates, and now hosting his own show. Now with a wife and kid, his life experiences are far different than when he first started, but this “regular guy” knows how to relate to anyone. He writes about the Flyers, Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles.
