Janet Jackson Concert Postponed Due To Basketball Playoffs
A Janet Jackson concert in Atlanta was cancelled and rescheduled thanks to the Hawks beating the Celtics last night. The concert was scheduled for Thursday night, but thanks to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks, Game 6 of the 1st round of the playoffs will be at State Farm Arena in the ATL on Thursday and not the Janet Jackson concert. After the win last night, Live Nation announced the concert would be rescheduled for Friday night, tickets will be honored and refunds given to those who can’t make it on Friday night. Very different from what happened recently in Mississippi and a Morgan Wallen concert.

A White Killer Whale Was Spotted Off The Coast Of California
I didn’t even know a white killer whale existed, but they do and they are very rare. There have only ever been 8 sightings of the rare white killer whale, until Monday when one was spotted of the coast of California. Video shows the pod of orcas swimming with the white whale about 45 miles from Newport Harbor by a whale watching boat. The whale watchers named the whale Frosty, experts say the light pigmentation is from a unique genetic condition. According to Newport Coastal Adventures, orca sightings are very rare in Southern California.

A New Orleans Senior Was Offered 125 Scholarships
I’ll never know what it means to be that smart. Dennis Barnes is a high school senior in New Orleans and he has received $9 million in scholarship offers from 125 colleges. He’s now the leader in scholarship money, Normandie Cormier received $8.7 million in scholarships back in 2019. Barnes however, is looking to get a dual degree in computer science and criminal justice. He’s also hoping to surpass $10 million in scholarship money by the end of April. He has a 4.98 GPA, is a member of the nation Honor Society, he’s fluent in Spanish and has received awards from the Honorary Consul of Spain in New Orleans among other accolades. He’s going to make his decision on where to attend college on May 2nd.
