Mattress Mack has become legendary for his huge bets on sports – all from the Super Bowl to the World Series. And of course, to the NCAA tournament. He recently placed a $4.05 million dollar bet on the University of Houston men’s basketball team to win it all. He would potentially win almost $39 and a half million dollars if Houston wins.

Huge Diamond Found in State Park
A visitor to an Arkansas state park recently found a 3.3 carat brown diamond. David Anderson frequents the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas, but this is his biggest find to date. He’s found over 400 diamonds since 2007. It was the largest diamond to be found in the park since September of 2021 when a person found a 4.38-carat yellow diamond. Anderson named the diamond BUD – B-U-D – which stands for Big Ugly Diamond. He plans on selling the gem. No word on how much money it will bring in.

Sometimes job applications or interviews can be uncomfortable or awkward, but this seems down right invasive. A graphic designer from Ohio is going viral after posting her experience with an unnamed company after they asked her a quite invasive question on a recent job application.
According to the NY Post, “The application for a visual design lead position at an unnamed company asked, “How do you feel life has worked out for you so far?”
“Please record a short, roughly 2-5 minute video response, and paste the link here,” it instructed.”
There are so many things wrong with this question, while the company may have just wanted to get to know the interviewee, it is very intrusive. By asking for a video, they get to judge the applicant on his or her appearance… also what does my life outside of work have to do with the job? So many questions…
