Canadian woman gets subtweeted by police for calling 911 over Burger King line
- Manitoba Police are reminding people that calling 911 should be reserved for emergencies after a woman dialed the line to discuss her displeasure at the city’s new Burger King’s long line
- The media relations manager said that these squabbles aren’t an emergency and shouldn’t require a 911 call.
TikTok trend putting Disneyland riders in danger…
- TikTokers are telling people to improperly secure their seat belts on Disneyland’s Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout ride, previously known as the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
- By not putting your seat belt on correctly, you get more “air time” when the elevator car drops. Basically, you get to wriggle a little free of the seatbelt and go slightly airborne in a way that you normally would not.
- Obviously, there is a concern that riders may be injured by this practice.
Woman arrested for teaching squirrels to attack her ex-boyfriend
- Charlotte Police Department officers detained a 45 year old woman for trapping squirrels and training them to harm her ex boyfriend
- The ex-boyfriend, 51, is believed to have been assaulted by the squirrels a dozen times over the last month. The assaults have resulted in the loss of a pair of fingers and a testicle.
- The man became aware that his ex-girlfriend, a former circus animal trainer, was training the squirrels when he happened to notice her popping out of a bush during one of the attacks.
Japanese politician blames record low birth rate on citizens’ lack of ‘romantic ability’
- The number of births in Japan have declined to their lowest rate since records began being kept in 1899.
- Japan has the highest proportion of elderly citizens worldwide.
- A politician said recently at a town hall that the problem is not with the cost of having a child, it is the fact that citizens are lacking “romantic ability” in today’s world.
Florida man seeking to become a stand-up comedian after over two decades in football
- Rumors are swirling online that Tom Brady “has drawn up a game plan for a new career in stand-up comedy” to keep himself busy in his post-playing days.
- According to reports from Radar Online, Brady’s “ego inflated” when he performed well in “80 For Brady,” which “left him feeling like an all-pro comic.”
- TMZ reported that Brady is not pursuing a career in stand-up comedy.
