So I do a lot of these hits from around the country. I was talking to a buddy of mine from Fox off the air before the show. He goes, “you know your boys arent so good. Just take off the Eagles goggles. I cant believe your a fanboy.”
I go dude Im not a fanboy… They destroyed the Giants. That was the 3rd time they met. If anybody was going to know you, its the Giants. And the Eagles destroyed them. It was a first round knockout. That should tell you how good they are. He Said “they have been fortunate with how they have caught teams. They aren’t that good, and this is the week they will be exposed.”
Im trying not to get angry. I have known the guy for a long time and I dont want to get nasty with him. But thats ridicoulous. the D Line is great. San Fran’s D Line is incredible too. They may have the best player in Bosa. But if you look at the collection of players on the Eagles’ defensive front, I’d go Eagles all day. They are deeper at tackle and end. Look at the year Reddick has had. Nobody else gives Haason Redick the time of day. And he has had this amazing season…. This whole D Line is really good.
And look at their secondary. I think the Eagles secondary is better than the Niners secondary… Especially now that they have CJ Gardner Johnson back. And thats just the defense. On offense, is the strongest part of this team.
For the life of me, I just dont understand how everybody beleives that they aren’t that good… When they were rolling I was talking about how this could be the most domiant Eagles team that I have seen offensivly…. AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Dallas Goiedert, Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders, and that line? How is that not the best offense in the history of this team?…
I don’t think they are going to lose. But even if they do, it doesnt change how I feel. When they are healthy, they are a great team. There is a reason why they were 13-1 before Hurts got hurt. But I want to look at it with you huys as objectivly as possible. Because I couldnt take it. I was actually getting angry.”
