We have a monster game on Sunday. Now it shouldn’t be an issue. The Giants are going to play their starters for the first couple of series, and that will be that. And the Eagles should have the game. They are a 14-point favorite, which is telling you that they are going to win the game. My only issue here is I am going into this game and I feel blind.
We don’t know the status of Jalen. That is one of the problems going into Sunday. The shoulder is banged up. It is on the mend. So how does that affect the Eagles’ offense? This is something that I want to discuss. Obviously, you are not going to run the same RPOs and RPRs because you don’t want to imperil that shoulder. That is a big deal with a QB and his throwing shoulder. And the offense is based off his legs as well as his arm.
one of the things that we saw was it was a little bit scarier than we first believed. At first, we were like he is a little bit banged up. But I think it was a little bit more worrisome… You know (Sirianni) likes to play the gamesmanship card. But I feel in the fanbase right now there is a sense of how bad is he. Without knowing that… it is a concern. I feel like I am going into it a little blind. And I just don’t know how it will hamper the offense.
Not so much for this game. because this game should be a win. Forget about covering the 14, you should be able to win the game. My real concern is not the outcome of the game, but how badly is he hurt, and how badly will he be limited going forward.
