The Audio Vault- The Debut of The Godfather 2
See what Andrew Salciunas found in the Audio Vault today, including some scenes from the Godfather 2 on the anniversary of its debut. With Andrew out, he tasked Connor Thomas to take his place in the Audio Vault. Here is the lineup from today’s Audio Vault.
The Godfather 2 Debuts In Theaters
Today in 1974, The Godfather 2 debuted in theaters. Still considered among the All-Time classic, it is full of memorable scenes. And Andrew had Connor pull some of those scenes for the Vault today. Here are the scenes Connor found down in the Audio Vault.
- “Senator, you can have my answer now. My offer is this, nothing”
- “You are nothing to me now. Not a brother, not a friend.”
Unfortunately, at one point during today’s Audio Vault, Anthony found out that Connor Thomas is not a big fan of The Godfather 2. Which nearly led to Anthony kicking Connor out of the studio and going to the bullpen for his replacement. Connor managed to talk his way around to staying on the board though. But it was ironic that Connor would pull such a betrayal of Anthony shortly after they talked about one of the worst betrayals in film history when Fredo betrayed his brother Michael.
Its A Wonderful Life Debuts in theaters
On this day in 1946, “It’s a Wonderful Life” debuted. It is considered a Christmas classic by many. And Connor pulled one of the most iconic moments from the film where James Stewart’s character George Bailey declares that he wants to live.
Roy Williams Birthday
Today is Roy William’s birthday. Not the basketball coach. Unfortunately, it is the other Roy Williams. The Cowboys safety who injured Terrell Owens in 2004. And that seemed especially apt given the recent news of Jalen Hurts’ injury. And while his injury is nowhere near as severe as TO’s was, it is still another example of an injury messing with an otherwise great Eagles season.
