Are you kidding me? Oh my god! on a rainy December afternoon in North Jersey, the 2022 Eagles solidified themselves among the NFL elite. Not just among the NFC, but the AFC too. They show you yet again another different way of winning. this time a methodical, almost machine-like Victory. Relentless, unstoppable. they showed you that they are as good, if not better, than the Chiefs, the Bills, and any other elites in the NFL. They are right now, as we speak, here in December, the best team in all of Football.
They are better than KC. Better than Buffalo. They are the best team in the league. In a game that they should have struggled in by the ebb and flow theory. And yet, they rolled. it wasn’t even close from the beginning. they were unstoppable. I know the Giants are on a downturn. They are early in their rebuild. But let’s face it, that was s beatdown at Giants Stadium.
Jalen Hurts continues his transformation from suspect prospect to MVP. Never have we seen in any sport such a meteoric rise. From a guy that we had lots of questions about, to a guy who not only answered those questions, not only a top 12 QB but a top 3-4 Qb… He is right there, he is in the mix. He’s a contemporary of Mahomes and Allen. it’s amazing the transformation. Throwing pillows and dimes. running that offense perfectly, making all the right decisions.
That offensive line might be the best I have ever seen. And to watch Jalen sit back, make his progressions, check 1-2-3, and use his check downs. He just was masterful. And then when he wants to run, he is unstoppable. This dominance of this offense, and without Goedert mind you…
What we have seen from this offense is methodical, it’s dominant, it’s one of the greatest offenses an Eagles team has had… Elite offensive display. And this is not a mirage. It is real.
