Anthony’s Opening Diatribe- The AJ Brown Redemption Game
See what Anthony Gargano Had to Say In His Opening Diatribe This Morning Below…
We are just a couple of days away from a fun game. Eagles and Titans. The AJ Brown redemption game. I don’t even understand why the Titans would trade AJ Brown.
Why in the world would you trade him? You saw the contract. The Eagles right away traded for him and locked him. It wasn’t like he was a guy who was making waves about “I have to get out of here.” And they just didn’t want to lock him up. And I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to lock AJ Brown up. Brown has shown you that he is legit. I think that kid is a hell of a player. He is 24 years old, and every bit of a stud WR.
Look, Jefferson was a once in a lifetime type of diamond. But Brown is a pretty good consolation prize. And then couple that with Devonta Smith. We haven’t really talked enough about AJ, or Devonta for that matter. You have these two incredible recievers. When I was thinking about Brown, and why Tennessee would not want to re-up him. I know they drafted Burks, and he can play a little bit. But so what? AJ Brown is a stud. And he is young. it’s not like he is 28.
AJ Brown, Devonta, are you kidding me? Look at those WRs that were here in the past. Alshon was okay. He wasn’t anything close to TO. He was okay. On a scale of 1 to 10, he is a 6.5. But after Alshon it was slop. It was guys walking around with no hands. They had fly swatters for hands. These guys were horrible. The era of goodwill is here. Thank god that we don’t have to deal with that.
