The Audio Vault- Reliving Great Moments From This Run
Last night was a gut punch. The Phillies are not dead yet, but they are on the ropes. After losing game 4 by getting no-hit, they dropped game 5 as well after struggling to take advantage of several opportunities with runners on. The vibes in Philadelphia this morning are understandably down. So to pick them up, Andrew Salciunas dug into the Audio Vault to capture all the great moments from this run to The World Series.
Because regardless of what happens this weekend, whether they win or not, this was a great run. They weren’t supposed to be anywhere close to here. And even if it ends in disappointment, it will be something we remember for a long long time. People are still talking about 1993 despite that one ending in gut-wrenching heartbreak. And this one will be special as well no matter what happens. So with our moods all in the dumps, Andrew tried to pick us up a bit with the biggest moments of this run. Going from the rally in game 1 vs the Cardinals to them beating the Padres to go to the World Series.
