The World Series is here! Our long wait is over, and game 1 is tonight. And you could say Anthony Gargano was a little excited this morning. If you missed how he opened his show, you can still catch it below…
Here is how Anthony opened his show this morning…
Game 1 of the World Series!
It is finally here. The long wait ends tonight at 8:07 when the World Series takes place, dateline Houston. Aaron Nola makes the start for the Phillies against Justin Verlander. Dude, that’s right. It is an awesome day for Philadelphia. Cannot wait to get to tonight for the first pitch. It is going to be one of those days where the minutes feel like hours, and the butterflies start to flap.
They’ve got a chance. I am going to say it again. We have been saying it all week. They are live man, they have a great shot at this thing. They have a great lineup. And it is a lineup that has a great 2 strike approach. I love what they are doing right now, it feels like they work pitchers. And I think they profile against Verlander. He lives on his heater, it’s great, and it has some movement to it. But the Phillies are a fastball-hitting team. And I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of those boys catch up to that fastball and there are some home runs tonight.
I feel it. I think there are going to be runs scored tonight. That’s weird because I know the total I saw was 6 1/2 runs. But I think there are going to be some runs. We have some magic left in this World Series. The postseason is not over. yea it is great, this ride has been amazing, sensational, and much-needed for this city. It has been such a gift. And I think it continues. I think the Phillies are live. There is some magic here. I think something special is brewing.
