What’s Brewing With Jen- Tyrone’s Least Favorite Character Gets a Film
See what was Brewing with Jen Scordo today! Every day Jen shares 3 recent weird and interesting news stories. Today she had one about Tyrone’s least favorite character getting a movie, a professional cuddler, and a Nationals fan biting an usher. Here are her stories from today.
Nationals Fan Fights and Bites an Usher
Those terrible Philadelphia fans. How rude of them to dress like a Nationals fan, travel to Washington D.C., and start a fight with the ballpark ushers. One Nationals fan showed more fight than his team has all year when he decided to not just punch an usher, but take a bit out of him as well. The fan was allegedly in a section that he was not ticketed for. The usher asked him to move, and he refused. The fan fought back, causing more ushers to arrive to help. That is when the fan elbowed the usher in the face multiple times and proceeded to bite his hand as well. Police eventually showed up to break it up, and now the man has been arrested for simple assault.
Professional Cuddler
Missy Robinson has an unusual job. Men and women pay her for a cuddle. Not for sex, but just to cuddle. She says they will pay as much as $1300 for one cuddle session. Missy calls herself a cuddle therapist. During the sessions, any extracurricular touching is completely off-limits. And her clients have to sign an agreement saying as much before every session. She charges $65 for one hour, $195 for 2 hours and a meal session, and $1,300 to cuddle overnight. She says cuddling helps heal the mind, body, and spirit.
Figment is Getting a Movie
As we learned from when “What thing does your significant other love, that you hate,” Tyrone is now a fan of the character Figment. For those who don’t know, Figment is the mascot of Epcot’s Imagination pavilion at Disney World. Until now he has been a relatively obscure Disney character. Figment has merely been the mascot of the ride Journey Into Imagination. He had never been featured in a movie. But that is about to change. Seth Rogen’s production company Point Grey is in line to produce the first-ever Figment movie. The Figment movie will be written by the same team behind Detective Pikachu. Tyrone was none too pleased to here this news.
