VIDEO: Adam Schefter “There Arent Many QB’s Playing Better Than Jalen Hurts”
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade Show for his weekly hit (Wednesdays at 8:10am) to discuss all that is going on in the NFL. The Eagles are one of the best teams in the NFL, holding a 3-0 record and much of it is thanks to quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts entered the season with a lot of questions surrounding him in a “make or break” year. So far Hurts has stood up to the task and when Schefter was asked about Hurts’ play he praised the young quarterback.
“There aren’t many quarterbacks in the league playing better than Jalen Hurts. Hes playing better than anyone in Philly, or the league, thought he would.”
So with Hurts’ strong play comes the question of extension. Hurts isn’t eligible to sign a contract extension until after the season but with each game his value goes up and up. Jamie Lynch asked Schefter about Hurts’ value as compared to Lamar Jackson who was a quarterback close to signing an extension until he decided to bet on himself.
“You might be able to make the argument that hes worth more than Lamar Jackson is the Eagles win the Super Bowl”
