What’s Brewing With Jen- A Raccoon In a Hammock
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on “The Best Show Ever?” she shares three news stories. Today she got into a viral video of a raccoon chilling in a hammock, a man finding out he won $1 million, and a kid who is a very tough critic of his mom’s cooking. Here are today’s stories.
Raccoon in a Hammock
Even raccoons occasionally need a night where they just relax. And that is what happened with one raccoon in the Philly area. He was tired, so he found a nice hammock in someone’s backyard, and decided to take a nap. The homeowner noticed this, shared a video, and now the little fella is a local star.
exCUSE me, who taught the raccoon on my back porch how to use a HAMMOCK??

Man Thinks He Won $600, Turns Out It Was Actually $1 Million
A Virginia Man got a nice surprise when he tried to cash his winning lottery ticket. Jose Flores Velasquez brought his ticket to the Virginia Lottery’s Customer Service Center, thinking he was going to get $600. It turns out his math was off, but about $999,400. The employees at the center soon informed him that the ticket was actually worth $1 million. I get excited when I find a loose $5 bill in the laundry. Jose took that to the next level. He chose to take the cash up front option, as opposed to being paid the full $1 million over 30 years.
Kid Has Tough Review For Sandwich His Mom Made For Him
Children really do say the darndest things. One little boy had quite the review for his mom when she greeted him as he came home from school. Abe was coming home from his first day in Kindergarten. His mom, Ricki Weisberg, filmed him getting off the bus. And when he saw her he told her “Mommy … terrible sandwich, by the way. Very terrible.” Five years later, she posted the video to TikTok, it blew up.
“I posted the video after he left for his first day of fourth grade. And by the time he got home that day, we were already up to nearly one million views.”
To be fair to Abe, it turns out it really was a terrible sandwich. She didn’t realize the butter she used for it, had gone bad. So her son was trying to eat a sandwich smeared with rancid butter.
