What’ Brewing With Jen- Four Pigs on the Lamb From Police
As they do every day on “The Best Show Ever?” they took a look a ‘What’s Brewing With Jen.’ So what was brewing with Jen Scordo today? She got into a story about a lobster with a rare color being saved from a Red Lobster, the latest in the never-ending line of pumpkin space products, and a group of pigs that have been on the run from police for two weeks. Here are today’s stories.
Pumpkin Spice Jalapenos
Every fall people freak out over the start of the pumpkin spice season. It’s not only in coffee now but in everything. Pumpkin spice candles, pop tarts, pancake mix, cotton candy. It is the new rule 34. If it exists, there is a pumpkin spice version of it. And now, you can get pumpkin spice jalapenos.
But people who bite into it expecting it to taste like their seasonal coffee will be in a for a very rude awakening. This pepper did not get its name because it has hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. No, it is very much still a pepper that will have you scrambling for a glass of milk to cool off your burning mouth. The Pumpkin Spice Jalapenos may skimp on the pumpkin part of its name, but it makes up for that with the spice. In fact, they are even hotter than your normal jalapeno, clocking in at 25,000 Scoville units. That is three times hotter than a jalapeno.
Four Pigs on The Lamb From Chicago Area Police
A group of four pigs continue to elude Chicago Police. They have been on the lamb for two weeks now. The pigs are loose in the western suburbs of Chicago. And despite the best efforts of local police, they continue to evade capture.
“The loose pigs are still enjoying their freedom within the same general vicinity of where they were first spotted. They have slightly expanded the area they’ve been roaming, and so that’s making the live trap that was set a bit less useful.” -chief of police Timothy Roberts
No one knows where the pigs originated from, and no one can wrangle them.
Another Orange Lobster Rescued From a Red Lobster
A lobster was given a pardon for a death sentence in Mississippi. It was sent to a Red Lobster, marked as someone’s dinner before the staff rescued it. Why did they choose to spare its life though? Well because is a one in 30 million lobster, though maybe it would be more apt to call it 2 in 30 million. Because it is now the second orange lobster to be saved from someone’s dinner plate at a Red Lobster. They named this one Biscuit after the first one was named Cheddar, both named after the restaurant’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
The rare lobster was sent to a nearby aquarium so that they can provide it with a safe place to live, and allow researchers to further study orange lobsters.
