Kevin Durant Praises Joel Embiid: “He’s Really Unstoppable”
The Sixers take on the Brooklyn Nets Thursday night in what will be Ben Simmons return to the Wells Fargo Center. But while Ben Simmons wont be playing, Kevin Durant will.
Durant, one of the best players of all-time, has an interesting relationship with the Sixers MVP favorite Joel Embiid. Just take a look at what happened at the end of the game the last time the two teams played each other

But it turns out there is a lot of mutual respect between the two. On Kevin Durant’s ESPN+ show The Boardroom Durant brought up Joel Embiid and he spoke glowingly about the Sixers center;
“When you see somebody that you admire, respect, and kinda see that growth… See Joel come in and watch him grow from being on a bad team to bringing that group to where it is right now, and to see his game grow, you can appreciate that as a fan… It’s a fun dynamic but it’s a bitch to play against too. He’s really unstoppable. He said something where he was like I can transform from like Kobe, to Hakeem, to Shaq, to a couple other players and I was like, ‘Yo, you’re telling the truth.’”

“Game respect game” but its still nice to hear an all-time great give praise to one of our own.
