Lane Johnson Announces Hes Suffering From Depression & Anxiety
Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson has been absent from the team since week 3 when the Eagles lost to the Cowboys in week 3. Before the Eagles faced the Chiefs in week 4 it was announced that Lane Johnson was OUT because of “personal matters.” But it appears like Lane Johnson is returning to the team.
Lane took to Twitter on Monday morning to release a statement;
“I would like to thank everyone for their understanding and support over the last two weeks. I appreciate the positive notes and messages as Ive worked hard to restore my personal life. Depression and anxiety are things I’ve dealt with for a long time and have kept hidden from my friends and family. If youre reading this and struggling, please know that you are not alone. I am excited to re-join my teammates and coaches. I am grateful for the entire Eagles community and look forward to continuing to play in front of the best fans in the world! #FlyEaglesFly”

Just a week ago Nick Sirianni said he wasnt sure if Lane Johnson would be back this year. But the statement makes it sound like Lane will be back this year, and sooner rather than later. That, however, is pure speculation. We wish Lane nothing but the best!
