Usually a card following a PPV is a “pass” kind of card. They just dont have marquee names/fighters and line up a mediocre event. This card itself is ok, but its the last card of the year so lets party!

While the Main event isnt a good one, the card is. Here are some specifics. The  prelims start at 4pm and the main card at 7pm . All of it is on ESPN+ and it free

I will give you my predictions in the order the fights are to take place. All odds are courtesy of Bet MGM. The King of Sports Books! For new users head on over there and use the promocode PatEgan and get your first bet RISK FREE up to $1K

192-136-2 this year. 64-33-1 on locks.

In 2021 I hit on 60% of picks. In 2021 I hit on 61% of “locks” (so a lot of people had keys to that lock.)

(7-4-1 last fight card. 2-1-1 on locks)

  • Drew Dober vs. Bobby Green

This is going to be a fun fight because both guys are willing to throw and Bobby Green is like a poor man’s Nate Diaz. Always willing to fight, always willing to talk. But Drew Dober has quietly been one of the better light weight’s in the division. Is he ever going to be a top 5 light weight? Probably not. But he is absolutely no slouch. And training in elevation has helped his game. Bobby Green is a nice striker but I just dont think hes on the Dober level. I think Dober wins and wouldnt be shocked if he finishes Green.

  • Alex Caceres vs Julian Erosa

Two fighters that I think suck. I just think Alex Caceres sucks worse. Hard not to be impressed with Erosa since he has returned to the UFC. He does look like a different fighter than the one we saw on the Ultimate Fighter years ago. His striking I think will give Caceres problems. Erosa has to avoid the fight going to the ground but I think he will piece Caceres up.

    Julian Erosa

  • Amir Albazi vs. Alessandro Costa

Originally Albazi was supposed to fight Alex Perez. Then he was supposed to fight Brandon Royval. Now hes fighting a guy who had a split decision victory on the Contender Series and a guy who is setting up for an easy night for Albazi. Sometimes the UFC just wants to keep a fighter active so theyll throw them a gimme win against a guy whos just happy to be in the UFC. This is that.

  • Arman Tsarukyan vs. Damir Ismagulov

I think Tsarukyan is just a more complete fighter than Ismagulov. Ismagulov is a volume striker and he lacks true knock out power. Tsarukyan can beat you on the feat and the ground. I think thats where Tsarukyan wants to take this fight. I see him taking Ismagulov down and cruising to a decision victory.

    Arman Tsarukyan

  • Jarred Cannonier vs. Sean Strickland

Very mediocre main event in my opinion. Two guys that I would classify as “fine.” Neither are ever going to truly contend for a championship. They might fight for one, and in Cannonier’s case he has, but it will be a filler championship fight for the division. WITH THAT SAID….

How will Sean Strickland respond to getting his lights shut out by (now champion) Alex Pereira? Strickland was on a tear with 5 straight wins since returning to the octagon until he ran into Pereira’s fist. And Cannonier can flat out strike. Cannonier’s power is undeniable, but so is Strickland’s boxing. This will be a standup battle and I think Strickland edges it on points.
