PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - MAY 07: James Harden #1 of the Philadelphia 76ers celebrates with fans after defeating the Boston Celtics in overtime of game four of the Eastern Conference Second Round Playoffs at Wells Fargo Center on May 07, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

See what Andrew Salciunas played in The Audio Vault today. Every day Andrew dives in the Vault, to put together a collection of audio to play on The Anthony Gargano show at 11 o’clock. And today, it was all about the game 4 win for the Sixers.

After winning game 1 in Boston, the Sixers dropped 2 straight. Including a blowout loss in game 2. Their backs were against the wall, and they were in danger of going back to Boston down 3-1. And for much of the 4th quarter, it looked like that would happen. The Celtics were dominating them in the 4th. Embiid was clearly tired and struggling to score. And besides Harden, no one was stepping up around him.

But the Sixers tied it up to force Overtime. And then in Overtime, they were trailing again, but Harden played hero again hitting a 3 to take the lead, and give the Sixers the lead. So now they head back to Boston with the series tied up 2-2.

So Andrew replayed the bets moments of the 4th quarter and Overtime in the Vault today. The high moments that led to thew win, but also those low moments that had Sixers fans thinking the game was over. Andrew and Anthony relived those game 4 moments in the Vault today. Here is the lineup of cuts they played in today’s Vault, and at the bottom you can listen to the full Vault.

  • 4th-Quarter- Brogdon 3 Puts Celtics Up 5

Things looked grim late in the 4th quarter. The Sixers could barely score, and this Brogdon 3 put the Celtics up 5. No one would have blamed you at this point if you started to give up on the Sixers chances in this game.

  • 4th Quarter- Harden Hits a 2 to Bring it Back Within 3

Harden gave us a glimmer of hope when he made it a one-basket game again.

  • 4th Quarter- PJ Tucker's Putback Plus And One Ties It

Not long after, PJ Tucker did what he does. He grabbed a tough offensive board, drew contact, and scored. Rebounding was an issue all game for the Sixers. But PJ grabbed one when needed, scored, then hit the FT after to tie it up. But on the other side, Marcus Smart drew the foul and hit both shots to make it a 2-point lead for the Celtics again.

  • 4th Quarter- Harden's Floating Jumper Sends it to OT

But then Harden played hero for the first of two times in this game. With the clock winding down, he nailed a floating jumper, to tie it up.

  • 4th Quarter- Marcus Smart Misses Potential Game Winning 3

The Celtics had a chance to win at the end of the 4th. But despite getting a wide-open 3, Marcus Smart couldn’t hit it, so we went to OT

  • Overtime- Maxey Starts the Scoring Off

Maxey opened up overtime with a dribble penetration layup.

  • Overtime- Jayson Tatum Floater Ties it Back Up

Tatum tied it up shortly after though, And the Celtics seemed to have the upper hand for much of OT.

  • Overtime- Embiid Gets Called for Bogus Offensive Foul

Embiid kept it going, when he drove at Marcus Smart and seemed to score and draw the foul. But the Refs called it a charge on the court. And even worse, they held up the call, despite the tape showing that Marcus Smart’s feet were still sliding and he was literally leaning into Embiid. So what should have been 2 pts and a chance at the line, turned into a turnover.

  • Overtime- Jayson Tatum Gets Away With a Push off

Sicers did eventually get the lead back despite the bad call. But then another bad call gave it back. Tatum blatantly shoved Tyrese Maxey away and hit the 3. But nothing was called. And the Celtics took a 2-point lead.

  • Overtime- Harden Hits Game Winning 3

Thankfully, Harden stepped up again. Embiid tried to tie it up, but could not hit the shot. The Sixers got the rebound though, and Embiid eventually found Harden standing in the corner, and Harden did not miss. He put the Sixers ahead, but there was still enough time on the clock for the Celtics to get a chance to take it back.

  • Overtime- Marcus Smart Cant Get Shot Off in Time, Sixers Win

Sixers fan’s hearts skipped a beat for a moment when Smart’s 3 went in. Thankfully, it was too late. The Ball was still in his hands when the clock hit 0:00.
